He has a helmet in his possession that allows him to become invisible and has a throne on Olympus but prefers to stay in the underworld. He is a very greedy god and wants nothing more than to increase the number of his subjects. He is also god of wealth for all the precious metals and stones found in the earth. When the division of the world occurred, Hades ended up drawing the worst of the lots, becoming the lord of the underworld, ruling over the dead. He is usually shown with his three- headed dog Cerberus. Hades is known as the god of the underworld. Zeus ended up choosing Athena for the gift that she gave to Athens which started a continuous feud between Poseidon and Athena. To ensure his safety, he ate each of his children as they were born, until Rhea, unhappy with the loss of her children, tricked Cronus into eating a rock instead of Zeus. Before Zeus was born Cronus was given a prophecy that one of his own children would become more powerful than him and eventually overthrow him as ruler of the universe. Zeus's symbol is an eagle, a bull, and an oak tree, standing for his wisdom, strength and power.
